Back in November 2014, Kimarley Henry was sketching in his seventh grade science class (when he should have been doing his work), and suddenly hit gold upon drawing a certain little comic strip. Thus Chad was born. The series chronicles both the mundane and insane experiences of its title character in the fictional city of Brooksford. When he is not being pestered at home by his naive little sister Jazmine and rash older brother Andrew, he is trying to find his voice as an artist at the Brooksford Arts Academy High School, where he has his friends; Eric and Naomi; by his side.

On June 7, 2019, the comic strip began running in local newspapers and continues to do so every week, with over 490 strips published to this day. A growing audience of readers have come to know and love this cast of colorful characters and will continue to do so for many years to come.
